I feel like a shifter newby this is the first time I've read a book with rhinos and ox shifters, but that is not all the diverse kind of shifters in this logging town. I love that she gives such great character to everyone whether good or bad. The blurb and most all of the reviews seem to cover all the bases, so I will just say I high recommend this novella. I love that Dakota is a great sassy, strong, lady bear who knows how to handle a bunch of tough shifters. Grayson is a big hunky grizzly who is so sweet and loving to his fated. It will take a lot to protect each other in a town run by a rhino! Oh, and did I mention it's hot, yes I did but it doesn't hurt to say it again!" - Kim B "This was one of the most romantic chapters I have had the pleasure to read. Grayson and his friends from the lumber camp really went all out to impress Dakota. Though I don't like boxing or MMA stories I did like this one. There was a real humanness to these characters whether the main two protagonists or antagonists. Grayson was really a sweetheart and Dakota had a heart of gold. I've never read a shifter story before that had a rhino shifter and the way Walter Cash was written I don't think I want to.
